Inside Nintendo, streaming for free on Google Video, is "a BBC3 in-depth report on the inner-workings of Nintendo. Very opinionated piece, and reporter by an amateur at best." I haven't watched it all, but it appears to focus on the questionable ethical and moral decisions made by Nintendo executives as it grew from literally nothing to revenues larger than all of Hollywood in just a few years.

It's not his age that you should conercn him about. It's his intelligence. If he can manage to hold the GameBoy correctly without dropping it, then it should be okay to get him one. Most of the good games for the GameBoy are Nintendo games, which means that its a great system for young children.
