I Want My DDR

Behold: It teaches rhythm and timing. It gets kids exercising and encourages them to hang out and jaw with their pals. Do not be afraid. It is a video game.

The fifth game in Konami's super popular Dance Dance Revolution series is out -- Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix for the Xbox. For $65 you get the game and the dance pad, plus if you subscribe to Xbox Live you can play against other dancers! I don't know about the network gaming factor -- I can't dance to save my life but I'm willing to humiliate myself with DDR as long as it means I get to see my friends humiliated with DDR as well. It's loads of fun, especially if you're at home and all of you are poorly-coordinated.

The reason I'm posting this is I'm surprised DDR hasn't come out for the Gamecube yet. It seems like it would be a perfect match for the cross-section of Gamecube afficionados who love social games. What gives, Konami and Nintendo? I want my DDR!

I WANT DDR!!! And not with Mario People, just plain DDR. I will buy a new system if a regular DDR isent made for Gamecube.

Hey you guys! I wanted to tell you that there is a dancing game uot, but its not called DDR its called Mcgroove dance craze. Its only for gamucube and its about $50-80. So just buy this one than buying a totally new system just to get DDR.

OK, DDR IS A GAME THAT SHOULD BE 4 ALL SYSTEMS. I MEAN I'VE HAD N64 4 5 YEARS NOW AND MY PARENTS REFUSE BUYING ME ANOTHER SYSTEM! THEY SAID I SHOULD B HAPPY W/ THE COMPUTER. Yay ddr is coming to gamecube : ) ya ya ya but it comes sometime this summer but neways i need to train more all I can do is that stupid mc groovz dance craze! it's look is completely different so if i play to much ddr I stink at mc groovz and vise versa because they look completely different and the mc groovz dance craze songs really really suck they're pop songs for god sake! and they have no rythm not like the good pop songs DDR has the bad ones from "your favorites suck as jessica simpson Jewel Kevin lyttle... plus dance workout mode" wtf???? i like jessica simpson? who's jewel whos kevin lyttle?!?!? and the steps are to repetive up,down,left,up,down,left repeat for a while then do a different 3 steps o ya the songs are friggin long too! one is 9 minutes long or was it 19 forgot haven't played mc groovz in a while (for obvious reasons) so ya DDR is coming to gamecube in summer and mc groovz dance craze sucks but it's the only dance game out for the gamecube so I still bought it.

Just give it to us nentendo. There is more of us than there is of you. Give us the DDR for GCN and everyone will be happy. ..GRRRR they really need DDR for GAMECUBE again, i've been to so many different cities going to game stores looking for at least one mat and game for it..UGH it makes me frustrated how they discontinued the game. i dont undertand why tho, its such a fun game and its really popular. the only thing thier doingthats stoppin the production of ddr for game cube is giving the other game systems a chance to have more buyers. GRR.

Okay, so I played DDR for the first time a couple days ago while on vacation - I'm a loser I know - and I absolutely fell in love with it. It was so friggin' awesome. I was shopping and I was like OH MY GOSH IT'S A DDR GAME! But then I looked and it was for x box and I have a game cube. I was like NO FAIR! lol. They need to make one soon. :[
