Emphasis mine. I wonder if this isn't a sly nod to McKean's Law: "Any correction of the speech or writing of others will contain at least one grammatical, spelling, or typographical error."

I never heard of McKean's Law, but I've seen it happen many times with would-be grammar Nazis. I like how the Wikipedia page for it contains a (presumably deliberate) typo.
