Game Boy Movie Player/Emulator
I hadn't had the to time to play with my movie advance player recently, but it's improved by leaps and bounds. The video encoding and quality is better than it has to be for your Gameboy/DS screen, and you can also listen to music while you're reading ebooks. It also plays gameboy ROMs. And sometime in the past year the price dropped to $25. And it works with the gameboy micro. I cannot rave enough about this little creature. (*****)

O3 Software: Alien Hominid
Rrecommended by Souris, side scroller with old-school personality and Viewtiful Joe sense of humor. The Nintendo polish that I expect isn't quite there, and it feels like a Playstation port of an old arcade game (the usual nintendo buttons don't work - b for back, for instance). This is partly intentional, I know, but I think this game is intended for more serious gamers. (***)
